Collaborative robots, also known as collaborative systems. Are artificial intelligence robots designed for human co-operation, or in some cases where humans and machines are at proximity. Collaborative robots contrast with traditional machine-based industrial robot applications where robots are isolated in a factory environment. In today’s modern and advanced manufacturing environment, human interactions with machines are important.

It is very important to be aware that a collaborative system requires human team members. To work together with machine users and non-human team members. Some of these collaborative systems may even allow workers to work in teams in one machine but in separate areas or machines.
Collaborative systems can either be in a construction or manufacturing environment. They can also work in a laboratory environment or any other setting where many machines and people are nearby.
Most of these robots will perform work based on “if the work is done right, there is no need for me to do it myself”. The robots will have a human operator and human input. But this is unnecessary as the robot will do the work. Automatically. Human beings need not supervise the robot for fear of doing it wrong or failing to do it correctly.
Human beings need not worry about the safety of the work as the robot will work safely. It will also be safe to operate as they will be controlled by software that is designed in such a way as to make them safer for humans.
The most important thing that a machine can do is work and produce results. If the machine does not perform as expected, there will be no need for you to check the results. If a machine fails to provide desired results. You do not have to waste your time checking whether the work was done properly.
A human operator cannot tell whether the robot did everything correctly. And so it is best left for you to decide what you want the robot to do. And how the results should be produced.
If you want robotic systems to be collaborative. You should make sure they are able to use the machine in different places. And for different tasks.
It is advisable to give your robots as many tasks as you think you can use it for. You can also use them in various environments such as museums, restaurants. And the offices so that the machine can work in different areas.
