This type of welding process is a kind of cost-cutting method used for the welding task. It requires the use of an electric current to flow through a certain metal until it melts. The molten metal is then made to pass between two metal bases to join them into one piece. The fact that it requires electricity instead of any fuel to get the required heat makes it cheaper than other processes.

Tig Welding

The Tig welding method is also known as GTAW or Gas Tungsten arc welding in which an electric arc is made to pass between a metal base and a tungsten electrode. The method can be used to weld Chromoly, stainless steel, aluminum, magnesium, etc.

Mig Welding is also known as Gas Metal Arc Welding or GMAW. This method has a faster and straightforward approach to the depositional process. In this process, the welder tip is contacted with a moving metal wire, the molten metal that then drips from the process is used for joining the other pieces with the base.
